Join us for a heartwarming evening celebrating German holiday traditions! Folklore Village is proud to host the Madison Maennerchor, Wisconsin’s oldest German singing organization, for the first time in a decade. Founded in 1852, the Maennerchor’s mission is to preserve German and American choral music, culture, and Gemütlichkeit—a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. After the special concert at the historic Plum Grove Church, we will move to Farwell Hall to light a 14-foot pine tree with real candles, the traditional German way, and gather around for holiday carols.
