2024 Senior Outreach Program
Since 1994, Folklore Village has been bringing concerts and interactive performances to older and disabled adults in our area through our Senior Outreach programs. All are welcome to our Senior Outreach events, from recently retired folks, to people living in care homes, to folks living at home and looking for fun and accessible activities.
All Senior Outreach events are free to seniors and caregivers.
July 24, 2024
Join us at Farwell Hall for a captivating performance by the renowned cowboy and Western duo, KG & The Ranger. Experience their mesmerizing yodeling, classic cowboy songs, and skillful lariat tricks from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Admission: free for seniors and caregivers.
August 7, 2024
Join us from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM for an afternoon of delightful musical entertainment with The Trippers. Enjoy their eclectic mix of folk, bluegrass, old country, and gospel music, dedicated to bringing joy to seniors and the local community.

September 10, 2024
Enjoy an afternoon of bluegrass with Pat Downing and Bill McWilliams from the band “Down from the Hills.” Pat brings his skills on mandolin, fiddle, and melodeon, while Bill adds his talent on the 5-string banjo. Join us for delightful music and community connection from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
