Clayton County Conservation presents the 2024 summer camp schedule.
New this year is the River Rats Day Camps which are geared towards older youth ages 10-15
years old. Each camp will focus on a different theme for a full day of outdoor exploration and
environmental awareness. Activities will include hiking, beginner paddling, games and more.
Nature Kids Day Camps are full-day outdoor programs for children ages 6-10. Each camp will
focus on a different theme, but all campers will get a chance to search for wildlife, make crafts,
go on hikes, and hone their nature awareness skills while exploring the parks of Clayton County.
Motor Mill S.T.E.A.M. camps are a fun filled day exploring historic Motor Mill as we discover
the connections between science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and art with nature.
This day camp is open to ages 6-12 years old, by the end of the day they all will be masters of
STEAM!
One more new camp for families was added this year, Family Camping 101.
