Brambleberry started as a beautiful bed and breakfast on a 115-acre family estate. Owners Chris and Sherry hosted immaculate dinners where they served small portions of their homemade wine. Through candid conversations and continued praise their hobby soon turned into passion.
Over the years with hard work and dedication the couple turned the original family farm into a thriving winery. They offer 56 homemade wines: each with their own unique pallet and “Pride and Prejudice” flair. The fan favorite “Victor’s Folly”, a sweet watermelon wine.
The couple’s passion for an exquisite tasting experience and attention to detail help to set this getaway aside from the rest. So much love and consideration is put into the formulation of each small batch wine. The local and out sourced juices are brought in specifically for each batch.
Chris and Sherry pride themselves in their ability to offer both sweet and dry red wine; produced on the property. An experience catered specifically to Brambleberry guests in a primarily sweet wine climate. The attached kitchen provides additional food opportunities to their guests. I found the chicken Alfredo pizza to be amazing!
Sherry also provides Reiki Clinic sessions for her guests; by appointment. She explains it is similar to sending good thoughts, prayers and love to others. I was able to personally experience a session with Sherry. The room was calming and inviting a beautiful place of internal meditation. With a choice of essential oils, along with a warm thermal mat and lavender eye pillow it was just the relaxation that I needed. At the end of the session I felt rested and rejuvenated. It was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend it.
Brambleberry offers a snow shoe and hiking trail. It is a one and a 1/2 mile round trip through the beautiful old growth oak “Enchanted Forest.” It opens to a beautiful clearing which has been deemed the best spot for weddings and gatherings. It is absolutely breathtaking and comes with a cute map to keep you on the trail.
From B&B to wine, food and excursion Brambleberry offers so many amenities to its guests. What started as a thriving bed and breakfast has grown into so much more. Chris and Sherry are excited to expand, grow and share their passion for wine, English countryside and serenity with others.
