T<\/span>his Valentine\u2019s Day, I\u2019m taking a moment to highlight an exceptional business and an incredible person who has become a true friend. Tony Angelini isn\u2019t just the owner of two outstanding Driftless Area businesses; he\u2019s a man who\u2019s made a lasting impact on my life with his advice, support, and unwavering kindness during some of my toughest times. For that, I\u2019ll always be grateful.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Journey of Tony Angelini<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Tony\u2019s story is one of grit, determination, and doing things his way \u2013 a sentiment that would make even Frank Sinatra proud. Born in Italy, Tony came to the United States as a young boy, moving with his family to Chicago<\/a>, IL in search of a better life. The streets of Chicago weren\u2019t always kind to an immigrant family with limited English, but those challenges shaped Tony into the strong, outspoken, and resilient man he is today.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"\"Years later, love brought Tony to Sparta<\/a>, Wisconsin, and eventually to the Driftless Area, where he found solace in the clean surroundings and the promise of opportunity. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open a successful Italian restaurant in Sparta before setting his sights on Onalaska. It was here, overlooking beautiful Lake Onalaska, that Angelini\u2019s Italian Restaurant<\/a> found its home \u2013 a place where tradition meets excellence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tony\u2019s entrepreneurial spirit didn\u2019t stop at Angelini\u2019s. Recently, he expanded with <\/span>Gino\u2019s Chicago Beef and Hot Dogs<\/a> in La Crosse<\/a>, sharing the same building as Angelini\u2019s to bring a taste of his Chicago roots to the Driftless Area. With authentic Italian beef, Chicago-style hot dogs, and the irresistible addition of hot giardiniera peppers, Gino\u2019s offers a casual yet flavorful dining experience. Over the years, Tony\u2019s guidance and friendship have meant the world to me. He\u2019s a man who tells it like it is, yet always with a heart full of encouragement. Whether sharing advice or simply being there to listen, Tony has been a steady presence through life\u2019s ups and downs. His wisdom and generosity reflect the values that make his businesses thrive: loyalty, hard work, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tony and I share a love of boxing, and his philosophy often reminds me of an important life lesson: it\u2019s not how many times you get knocked down but how many times you get back up and keep fighting. Tony\u2019s no-nonsense approach to life and business is reflected in everything he does.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
