H<\/span>ow would you describe yourself?<\/span><\/strong>
I have a positive uplifting personality. I enjoy riding my bike, swimming, hiking and being with friends and family. I LOVE to travel and take ghost tours.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your biggest accomplishment?<\/strong><\/span>
I have recently written a book about Haunted Baraboo. I have also run my tour business for the past 10 years. In the winter I am high school teacher. In 2020 I received the Teacher of the Year award. It was such an honor to be chosen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you read any good books?<\/strong><\/span>
Yes. Haunted Baraboo<\/a> of course. I am currently reading My Life is a circus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is your personal hero?<\/strong><\/span>
I love Michele Obama.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"\"Do you have a life philosophy that you live by?<\/strong><\/span>
I always put a smile on my face. ( I have stage 4 cancer and try not give this disease attention, instead I focus on the positives in my life and just keep going and planning my life.)<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you like most about yourself?<\/span><\/strong>
I am easy to talk to and I give AWESOME tours.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you could change the world, what would you change?<\/span><\/strong>
No war or cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you think is the meaning of life?<\/span><\/strong>
To make as many positive connections as we can.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you prefer working alone, or do you like working with others?<\/span><\/strong>
I like to work with a group and alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s something that no one would guess about you?<\/span><\/strong>
Looking at me and talking to me no one would know I have stage 4 cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your deepest belief about life?<\/span><\/strong>
I love life and my family and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"If you could wake up anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?<\/span><\/strong>
Bali<\/a>. I would love to spend time there.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you could be doing anything, anywhere right now, what and where would it be?<\/span><\/strong>
I would go to a beach and ride a book to relax.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the one thing you wish you could have a do-over for?<\/span><\/strong>
To travel more.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you work on yourself?<\/span><\/strong>
I spend a lot of time doing self care. Yoga, meditation, sauna.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s one thing you\u2019ve had to overcome in your life?<\/span><\/strong>
Cancer. When I was initially diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I layed on my floor and cried for days. Then I got myself up, went for a 2nd opinion and found doctors that I could work with. They are awesome and optimistic.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you handle being in a bad mood?<\/strong><\/span>
I go for a walk or do yoga<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is the most important person in your life?<\/strong><\/span>
My friend Karen.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am a great person to be around.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite music?\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>
I like Rock music.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you weren\u2019t here running your business or doing the work you do, what would you be doing instead?<\/strong><\/span>
I would be traveling.<\/span><\/p>\n

How has this pandemic affected YOU or YOUR BUSINESS here in the Driftless?<\/strong><\/span>
It was a slow year in 2020. I tried to do virtual tours, but weren\u2019t successful<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite season in the Driftless & why?<\/strong><\/span>
Summer. I love to swim in Devils Lake<\/span><\/p>\n

What are some of your favorite places to go for fun here in the Driftless?<\/strong><\/span>
Devils Lake<\/a> , Lake Wisconsin<\/a>, Wisconsin River<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
